GAA Portugal is the governing body for Gaelic games in Portugal — Gaelic football, hurling, camogie and rounders — affiliated to the GAA's European County Board. We coordinate the clubs, field the Portugal county team, and grow the games through schools and community programmes.
What started as a handful of expats with one football in 2017 is now a multi-club association where most new members have no Irish connection at all. Training is in English and Portuguese, and every session ends the same way everywhere in the GAA world: with a match.
The association is run entirely by volunteers. If you'd rather coach, referee, photograph or fundraise than play — we need you even more.
