Gaelic games on the Douro
Porto Gaels were founded in 2024 — the second club in Portugal and the first outside Lisbon. Royal blue and gold, a squad drawn from five nationalities, and a home pitch ten minutes from the sea.
We are a young club and it shows: everything from jersey design to fixture dates still gets decided by whoever turns up on Wednesday.
